Biography

Samuel is majoring in biomedical sciences at the University of Central Florida. He is particularly interested in molecular biology and has conducted research for the past two years under the mentorship of Dr. Ratna Chakrabarti. Their project focuses on prostate cancer. Samuel has received multiple undergraduate grants and won the Showcase of Undergraduate Research Excellence. He has volunteered for three years at a children’s hospital and does outreach work for those struggling with drug addiction and alcoholism within the local community. Samuel plans to pursue a medical degree, specializing in endocrinology.
