Biography
Gilarys was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. She is an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the UCF Marriage and Family Research Institute. Her research interests are in family dynamics.She is currently working on a research about dyadic coping, emotional regulation and psychological distress in Millennial couples. Her mentor is Dr. Sejal Barden. He plans to pursue her Master's Degree in Social Work and her license to become a LCSW. Other disciplines that Interest her are education, and different counseling fields.
