Title
Measurement Of G For Small Inter-Mass Spacings.
Abstract
Measurements of the universal gravitational constant have been carried out for inter-mass spacings from 5 cm to 0. 3 cm. These measurements were conducted with a Cavendish balance modified to accommodate disk-shaped masses. Initial data indicate no significant deviations from the inverse square law and provide a value of G equals 6. 7 plus or minus 0. 2.
