Title
Best Management Practices Overview.
Abstract
In the general list of best management practices for stormwater control, many practices are currently being used. On-line retention and detention ponds are used frequently and their importance warrants a complete section within this publication. However, there are other best management practices which are frequently used and will be addressed here. It is the purpose of this paper to summarize efficiencies and design considerations related to: Off-line Retention (Infiltration) Systems; Vegetated Swales (with and without berms); and other practices such as street cleaning, catch basin cleaning, roof and parking lot infiltration, and erosion control.
