Title
Electromagnetic Scattering From Stacked Gratings.
Abstract
The theory of scattering matrices and network analysis are used to solve the problem of scattering from cascaded infinite periodic gratings. The total reflection and transmission coefficients are calculated as functions of angle of incidence, wire spacing for each grating, wire thickness, grating separation, and number of gratings that comprise the cascaded structure. In all cases the secant corrector spectral iteration approach is used as a numerical method for calculating the desired currents and fields.
