Two Tank Direct Solar Water Heaters With Electric Backup: Plumbing Considerations And Field Performance Comparison With Fchart.
Abstract
Different ways of plumbing residential pumped two tank direct solar water heaters with electric backup are discussed. Measured field performance of one such system is compared with FCHART 4. 1 for a one year period. While FCHART predictions are in complete agreement on an annual basis, large differences occur for most months.
