Title

Instructional Technology Program At The University Of Central Florida.

Abstract

The Instructional Technology Program at the University of Central Florida fills a need for professionals who are proficient at designing training materials. Graduates of the program are currently employed by the military, military support industries, the government, and private businesses. To a great extent, the curriculum of this graduate program was specified by potential employers of instructional technologists through a DACUM analysis. The program allows a variety of elective areas of concentration, including Simulation, Health Sciences, and Industrial Psychology. Efforts are now under way to coordinate this program with an Engineering Simulation and Training program, and to offer the programs at remote facilities.
