Title
Comparison Of Wet Deposition Composition At Coastal And Inland Sites In East-Central Florida.
Abstract
During the period July 1977 to September 1981, wet deposition was collected from several sites at or near Kennedy Space Center (KSC), FL, and at a single site on the University of Central Florida (UCF) campus located east of Orlando. These collections and subsequent sample analyses were part of a program designed to evaluate environmental effects associated with launch of the space shuttle. The chemistry of bulk and wet deposition in Florida during the past five years has been investigated by others who have documented dramatic changes in composition between summer and winter deposition and along a statewide north-south transect. Adjacent coastal and inland sites also exhibited differences in bulk deposition acidity and marine-derived components.
