Progress In Diode Laser Upconversion
Abstract
To date, the only technique for diode laser upconversion which does not require the solution of one or more basic material issues is intracavity sum frequency upconversion. The authors show how resonant pumping of a single-input sum frequency laser has led to a substantial increase in optical conversion efficiency when compared to single-pass designs.
