Characteristics Of Nonlinear Organic Crystal Of 4-(N,N-Dimethylamino)-3-Acetamidontrobenzene (Dan)
Abstract
The nonlinear crystal of 4-(N,N-dimethylamino)-3-acetamidonitrobenzene (DAN) grown by Bridgman method is characterized. Bulk and cored fiber DAN are measured for second harmonic generation (SHG) of Nd:YAG laser at 1064 nm and 1319 nm, where energy conversion of 33.5% was obtained using a 1.7 mm thick DAN crystal. The phase matching curves were calculated and compared with the experimental data. © 1991.
