Title
Response Of The High Temperature Superconductors To Weak Ac Magnetic Field
Abstract
A variation of a magnetic modulated electric resistence technique for the characterization of high-Tc granular superconductors is described here. This technique uses a weak AC magnetic field to probe the superconducting sample under a constant DC current bias near the transition temperature. Different high temperature superconducting samples including bulk YBa2Cu3O (YBCO), single crystal YBCO, Bi2Sr2Ca1Cu2O (BSCCO) and Bi1.8Pb0.2Sr2Ca1Cu2O (BPSCCO) thin films have been characterized with this method. This method not only provides information on the superconducting transition of the sample, it can also be used to distinguish different mechanisms of the temperature superconductors. © 1991.
