Title
Nonlinear Optical Techniques For Frequency Upconversion Of Laser Diodes
Abstract
Nonlinear optical techniques for diode laser upconversion can be grouped into several broad categories which are characterized by distinct differences in overall conversion efficiency, stability and simplicity of design. In this talk we compare direct diode doubling, intracavity sum frequency generation and intracavity harmonic generation of diode-pumped solid state lasers and describe recent advances in each area.
