Title
Electrathon Vehicle Design
Abstract
The design of an electric vehicle, capable of extending the current world Electrathon distance record, by a University of Central Florida student is described. In addition to aerodynamic and safety concerns, design is focused on minimizing energy losses in the electrical and drive systems. Once completed, the design will serve as the basis for fabricating a vehicle to be raced in an upcoming competition sponsored by Florida Solar Energy Center.
