Title

Multi-Fractal Aspects Of The Fine-Scale Structure Of Temperature Fluctuations In Isotropic Turbulence

Abstract

The multi-fractal aspects of the fine-scale structure of temperature fluctuations in isotropic turbulence are discussed. The characteristic exponent \ ̂gz for the temperature structure function and the generalized fractal dimension D ̂q of the scalar-variance dissipation field are calculated and are shown to compare satisfactorily with experimental measurements. © 1995.
