Title
Creating An Engineering/Marketing Technology Incubator For Undergraduate Education
Abstract
A unique experimental program that involves the integration of marketing research and engineering design for better product development is presented and discussed. The new multidisciplinary and integrative approach to solving real life problems at the undergraduate level addresses two goals: a) to offer undergraduate students an opportunity to understand the process of better product development, by designing their own products and b) to help UCF enter into partnerships with local industries and Federal Labs to facilitate the problem of technology transfer together.
