Title
A Pc-Based Programmable Function Generator
Abstract
This paper describes a low-cost, programmable arbitrary function generator that is designed for use as a plug-in board in an IBM-compatible personal computer (PC). This Instrument can generate any function of time that can be represented mathematically. Although intended primarily for educational purposes, this waveform generator is also suitable for other applications such as the synthesis of sound.
