Title
Timing jitter performance of multiwavelength modelocked semiconductor laser
Abstract
The magnitude and origin of pulse-to-pulse timing jitter from a four-wavelength modelocked semiconductor laser is experimentally investigated. It is shown that the intracavity wavelength selective element adds timing instabilities and amplitude noise to the semiconductor laser under multiwavelength modelocked operation.
