Title
Mixed-fidelity simulation model of military platforms - An object-oriented approach
Keywords
Mixed-fidelity simulation; Modeling; Object-oriented approach
Abstract
An Object-Oriented approach to the modeling of military platforms is proposed. A helicopter is chosen as the sample platform. The approach uses the concept of hierarchy and inheritance to build classes of components. Based on the fidelity requirements, classes and sub-classes can be replaced. This approach greatly increases the reusability of the model.
