Title
Z-scan measurement of ground and excited state absorption cross sections in Cr4+:YAG at 1064 nm
Abstract
The Z-scan method determines calibrated cross sections by measuring the transmission of a sample as a function of the position of the sample with respect to the focus of an intense beam of light. The Z-scan measurement of ground and excited state absorption cross sections in Cr4+:YAG at 1064 nm is discussed.
