Title
Advances In Bulk Inorganic Nonlinear Optical Materials
Abstract
A new technology based on a periodically poled ferroelectric domain structure in LiNbO3 (PPLN) show promise for frequency conversion. Another possibility is based on self-frequency doubling. One nonlinear crystal with a potential for this application belongs to a large family of materials with the general composition of rare-earth calcium oxyborates or ReCOB.
