Title
Swept Frequency Acoustic Time Domain Reflection Measurements
Abstract
An inverse Fourier transform of frequency domain S11 reflection measurements obtained from a cube shaped piezoelectric material produces highly accurate time domain reflection data with the aid of mathematics and processing. A completely automated system has been developed to produce time domain reflection measurements over a temperature range of 200 °C. The target of the process is the analysis and extraction of elastic constants of new man made piezoelectric materials such as langasite and langatite.
