Title
Sensitivity of fenestration solar gain to source spectrum and angle of incidence
Abstract
The spectral selectivity of glazing systems are being altered to enhance their performance. The sensitivity of these glazes to the angle of incidence and the shape of the incident solar spectrum was examined by a simulation program. As the spectral selectivity of the system increased, the solar heat gain coefficient, the fraction of solar radiant flux incident on a fenestration system, varied as the incident spectral distribution changed.
