Title
Effect Of Ductility And Rate Sensitivity On Dispersion Of Debris By A Space Shield
Abstract
The paper presents the effect of ductility and strain rate sensitivity on the dispersion of space debris by a space shield. The measure of protection is the spray angle of the debris cloud and the performance of the thin shield was studied using the finite element impact code EPIC-II, incorporating advanced material models.
