Title
Simulation Using Staggered Integration Steps Part Ii: Implementation On Dual-Speed Systems
Abstract
This is part II of the paper 'Implementation Using Staggered Integration Steps'. The staggered-integration-step scheme involves shifter integer frame times for one subsystem a fraction of an integration step with respect to the integer frame times for the other subsystem. The use of integration algorithms based on intermediate-step predictor methods for the staggered-integration-step scheme have been discussed in part I of this paper. Multi-rate integration and multivariable function generation are two existing methods to replace conventional integration for simulating the fast subsystem in a stiff system.
