Title
High-Power Second-Harmonic Generation Experiments In Periodically Poled Lithium Niobate Waveguides
Abstract
This study characterized the cascaded nonlinearity in high efficiency SHG waveguides. Compared to older experiments with cascading the power needed was reduced by a factor of 30. It was shown that cascading is a local process that must not be limited by walk off and other SHG-limiting factors under certain conditions.
