Title
Thermodynamic Properties Of A Nd: Yag-Co2 Double Pulse Laser-Induced Plasma And Its Applications Under Stand-Off Conditions
Abstract
The effects of CO2 plasma reheating are presented under low-irradiance conditions typical of stand-off laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy. The mechanisms and possible applications of the technique for enhancing stand-off measurements are discussed. © 2008 Optical Society of America.
