Storage Lifetime Of A Hybrid Transflective Display Using Oled And Polarizer-Free Rlcd
Abstract
We demonstrated a hybrid transflective device by vertically integrating a reflective LCD and a transparent OLED. Such a device can effectively prevent the environment attacking of the OLED and lengthen the storage lifetime. A new device with an ultra-high transmittance (82.23% overall) by using a polarizer-free LCD as the reflective mode is also demonstrated. © 2008 SID.
