Title
A Glimpse At Us Consumers' Interest In Timesharing
Keywords
Consumer opinions; Timesharing; Vacation ownership
Abstract
This research note is based on the 1999 American Recreational Property Survey as solicited by the American Resort Development Association. The major findings of the study indicate that consumer interest in the vacation ownership industry as a viable recreational alternative is moderate at the best. In turn, this indicates that empirical studies must be conducted to ascertain the marketing and non-marketing variables that influence the consumer decision-making process. © 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
