Intracavity Phase Modulation For Phase Noise And Supermode Noise Spur Suppression In Mode-Locked Lasers
Abstract
Using intracavity active phase modulation, we have verified the theory of Haus and Rana and realized timing jitter reduction from 304fs to 150fs integrated to Nyquist frequency on a 10.24 GHz actively mode-locked pulse train. ©2009 Optical Society of America.
