Emergency Service Dispatch
Abstract
A breakdown in communication between dispatchers and policy usually leads to tragedy. Addressing this concern, the University of Central Florida Team Performance Laboratory approached several organizations to collaborate on research. By analyzing data from real emergencies, strategies for handling high workload and improving communication have been established.
