Title
Hf/E Issues Involved In The Disappearance Of And Search For Amelia Earhart
Keywords

Abstract
A reexamination of the final flight of Amelia Earhart points to some human factors/ergonomics issues that may well have played a role in the failure of the aircraft to make its rendezvous at Howland Island. HF/E issues were also involved in the failed search to find the downed flyer and her navigator in the vastness of the Pacific Ocean. © 2009 by Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, Inc.
