Title
Your Diagnosis?
Abstract
The clinical difficulty in differentiating displaced ischial avulsion fractures from the remainder of the conservatively managed hamstring injuries can lead to a delay in prompt surgical management and inferior prognosis. When there is suspicion of proximal hamstring injury in an adolescent, especially in the setting of ischial tuberosity tenderness and a palpable gap, radiographs and advanced imaging can efficiently determine the site and severity of injury and assist in preoperative planning.
