Optical Torques Guide Cell Motility
Abstract
Through systematic experiments and stochastic modeling we demonstrate that cell motility can be guided by optical torques exerted by the light polarization. This torque affects the actin network which is responsible for cell's movement. © 2009 Optical Society of America.
