Title
Unplanned Airflows &Amp; Moisture Problems
Abstract
Unplanned airflows induced in the building envelope cavities are at the heart of many problems with air quality, thermal comfort, excessive energy use and moisture. An overview of moisture-related problems that result from unplanned airflows is given. Topics discussed are the size of airflows, moisture dynamics, and the rules to consider in preventing the occurrence of such airflows.
