Title
Integrated Differential Pressure Measurement System
Abstract
An integrated differential pressure measurement system is briefly described from different perspectives, including hardware configuration, software design, scheduling strategies and some basic control algorithms. A multi-tiered and loosely coupled architecture is introduced to extend the configurability and flexibility distributed measurement and control systems. Component Design strategy and Object Oriented Programming are proposed to enhance reusability of system components. Remote supervisory control issues are also discussed, in the context of tele-calibration. It is shown that component design strategies and related specifications can ease the development and enhance the reusability of components in virtual instrument systems.
