Abstract
In this paper, we discuss new physical insights regarding the anomalous dispersion in the double-negative (DNG) waveguide. Base on our analysis, the discontinuity structure of a grounded DNG slab waveguide, sandwiched between two dielectric slab waveguides, is investigated and the physical insights are also presented.
