Experimental Characterization And Numerical Simulations Of Dispersion-Managed Breathing-Mode Semiconductor Mode-Locked Ring Laser
Abstract
The dispersion-managed breathing-mode mode-locked semiconductor ring laser was demonstrated. As such, the working regime and pulse evolution at key cavity points were characterized and numerically simulated. The results showed that the dispersion-managed breathing-mode appraoch was a promising scheme for generating ultrashort pulses from a semiconductor mode-locked laser.
