Abstract
The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) analysis for finite-sized phased array microstrip antennas was discussed. The accurate prediction of mutual coupling between array elements and the computation of the scan impedance of the array was presented. The analysis showed that the approach was valid for other configurations which include circular microstrip patches in a nonstacking environment.
