Title
Stable Dissipative Solitons In Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers
Abstract
Stable spatial solitons were observed in semiconductor optical amplifiers. Six different devices were investigated from the same wafer. It was shown possible to excite the solitons with about 60 mW input power. The simulations supported the bifurcating behavior of the solitons with the corresponding threshold pumping current, which indicated the turning point in the bifurcation diagram.
