Observation Of Optical Spatial Shock-Waves
Abstract
We report the experimental observation of optical spatial shock waves. These shock waves consist of two kink-type wavefronts which propagate locked to one another through photorefractive two-wave mixing, and move outside their original sector of propagation. ©2003 Optical Society of America.
