Title
Redefining Engineering Education Methods Using New Technologies
Abstract
The development of new technologies to redefining engineering education methods are discussed. Diversification in several areas including course content, multimedia learning environmental, team teaching and application of industry resources play a critical role in the successful advancement in engineering education. The new approach for redefining engineering methods also includes laboratory experiments that are related to textbook materials and related to real life situations. It was suggested that cross utilization of multiple engineering disciplines, an educational environment rich in varied learning methods all support problem solving approach currently found in industry practices.
