Title
Resonant Third Harmonic Generation By Femtosecond Laser Pulses On Bragg Grating In Photosensitive Silicate Glass
Abstract
Resonant third harmonic generation using femtosecond laser pulses on Bragg grating in photosensitive silicate glass was demonstrated. Glasses were exposed to Ti:sapphire laser pulses of 125 fsec duration at 775 nm using chirped pulse amplification scheme at 1 kHz repetition rate. It was found that the parameters of gratings were stable at level of power density up to a threshold of white light continuum generation at ≈1012 W/cm2.
