Title
Viscosity Dependence Of Optical Limiting In Carbon-Black Suspensions
Abstract
The optical limiting behavior of carbon-black suspensions (CBS) in solvents of varying viscosity using a pulsed laser was reported. The experiments were performed using a frequency-doubled, Q-switched, 5 ns FWHM, Nd-YAG laser operating at a 10 H or single shot repitition rate. The effects of recovering particles back into the focal volume was included using a computational algorithm.
