Kw All-Semiconductor Mode-Locked Extreme Chirped Pulse Amplification(Xcpa) System
Abstract
We report the demonstration of >kW peak power from an all-semiconductor mode-locked laser extreme Chirped Pulse Amplification(XCPA) system implemented with a chirped fiber Bragg grating as an extreme pulse stretcher/compressor. Also, we investigate the nonlinear behavior in the XCPA system implemented with a single mode fiber pre-stretcher. © 2005 IEEE.
