Differential Polarization-Phase-Shift Keying Without Using Polarization Control
Abstract
We propose a novel modulation format that polarization and phase of lightwave can be differentially detected without using polarization control at the receiver. 20 Gb/s transmission through 25 spans of 100 km SMF is possible. © 2005 Optical Society of America.
