Title
Impact Of Rz Pulse Carver Phase Errors On Optical Dqpsk
Abstract
The impact of phase errors caused by imperfect return-to-zero (RZ) pulse carving on optical differential quadrature phase-shift keying (DQPSK) is analyzed. The two-symbol-delayed interferometric demodulation is proposed as an effective means to mitigate this degradation. © 2005 Optical Society of America.
