Generalized Jones-Mueller Polarization Calculus
Abstract
The Jones calculus and the Stokes-Mueller calculus are generalized to describe changes not only in the state of polarization but also of the state of coherence of electromagnetic beams passing through linear devices. © 2005 Optical Society of America.
