Using Near-Field Statistics For Interface Characterization
Abstract
The first- and second-order statistical properties of intensity in the near-field of random media are investigated. It is found that specific experimental configurations are needed to relate intensity statistics to statistical properties of physical interface. © 2004 Optical Society of America.
