Observation Of The Discrete Talbot Effect
Abstract
We report the first observation of the discrete Talbot effect in waveguide arrays. Recurrence for different input patterns was observed in good agreement with theory. The effect of nonlinearity on the Talbot dynamics was investigated. © 2005 Optical Society of America.
