Abstract
The temporal evolution of self-phase modulation dynamics in a semiconductor optical amplifier is studied for the amplification of multiwavelength pulses using pump-probe techniques. Two photon absorption and four wave mixing effects are observed as well. © 2005 Optical Society of America.
